I’m Amanda Marie, thank you kindly for visiting. Here is a bit more how Amanda Marie & Co came to be!
Born & Raised: In what was then, a small country town of Paso Robles California. Today, this charming town has become the heart of central California’s wine country. Growing up I was constantly surrounded and fascinated by food & wine pairing. Starting at the age of 18, I worked as a restaurant events manager and specifically created engaging food and wine paired dinners. From there I worked as a venue consultant for several wedding locations in California and Virginia. Since 2013 I have specialized in Winery and Estate Ranch Weddings.
What I love most about planning weddings: I love designing the Timeline. If you spend an entire year planning a wedding, and have a weak timeline – all that planning is for nothing. You MUST have an excellent timeline if you want the event to succeed. There are so many facets to a good timeline, but the most important one is having the experience to understand how long things actually take, not how long you want them to take.
What is the most important part of designing a wedding: Producing a cohesive experience is really important to me. We work to make sure all guests of the party are comfortable and that everything we design for the event day – matches the setting. The temperature of the setting, the cuisine, and the entertainment are other crucial parts of designing an overall cohesive event.
