Leah and Chuck’s love story was a tale of destiny. Having decided long ago that they wouldn’t settle for just anyone, they found in each other the love they had been waiting for. After years together, they brought their closest family and friends to the heart of Santa Barbara County for an incredibly meaningful celebration at Roblar Winery and Vineyards in Santa Ynez, California.

Leah and Chuck’s shared love for the western flair of Santa Ynez inspired them to incorporate a band with a chic western vibe into their celebration. This added a unique touch to their farm-to-table-themed wedding, perfectly encapsulating the essence of the day. Their wedding day was a miracle of perfect weather. Despite an unseasonably warm late September, the day blessed them with a comfortable 75 degrees and a light breeze. It was a welcome relief after a two-week-long record-breaking heatwave. The color palette for their wedding featured off-white tight garden roses, white anemones, sweet peas, and dark burgundy poppies, creating an elegant and vibrant atmosphere.

As a comedy writer, Chuck brought in one of his good friends, a famous comedian, to serve as the officiant. The ceremony was a blend of humor and heartfelt sentiments, reflecting the couple’s personalities perfectly. One standout decor choice was a massively long table where everyone could enjoy each other’s company during dinner. It created a warm and inviting atmosphere, bringing everyone closer together. One of the most special moments of the day was the couple’s first dance as husband and wife to the smooth tunes of Sade, setting the tone for a lifetime of shared moments.

As their wedding planner, I recognized their need for a full-service planner and designer to make their day truly special. While they initially considered having less involvement wanting to keep the wedding day simple, they soon realized the complexity of planning even a seemingly straightforward event. I guided them throughout the process, ensuring that their wedding went off without a hitch.

Our event was outdoors at a beautiful winery, and Amanda was essential at acting as a liaison between us and the venue. Besides that, she steered us to the very best vendors: flowers, furniture, place settings, two different musical bookings, and a photographer. You name it. Amanda was hands-on from the moment we engaged her and was there to fix any problems that arose as the big day approached. And, of course, she was at the wedding making sure that every last detail was taken care of. We had a lot of moving parts, and it couldn’t have gone smoother.
